Choose and complete a Victory Path
To win, choose a Victory Path and complete every objective assigned to that path. Each path unlocks different victory conditions, so select the route that fits your faction and intended playstyle.
Other players' choices also matter: the bonus for a path grows with the number of players following it. For example, multiple players choosing Worship each receive a larger Worship bonus.
Use the Victory Conditions screen to track how every other major empire is progressing on each path. The screen also provides path, timer, and imminent-victory feedback, helping you recognize when a rival is approaching a win.
For the Worship path, the Monuments target is always seven. Monuments cost 25 Hyperium and 5 Thalitine, and upgraded Monument to the Lost districts count toward the path in new saves.
The Master victory condition was corrected after its formula made the target too difficult to reach.
A Confederacy is triggered by concluding Joint Military, Conjoined Research, and Shared Victory treaties. It grants both empires 20 additional Public Opinion for 10 turns.
Victory conditions and shared wins
- Must I complete every objective on my chosen path?
- Yes. All objectives belonging to the selected Victory Path are mandatory, rather than optional alternatives within that path.
- How can I monitor an empire nearing victory?
- Open the Victory Conditions screen to compare the other major empires' progress across the paths and check its timer and imminent-victory feedback.
- What should I know before pursuing Worship?
- Plan for seven Monuments, with each requiring 25 Hyperium and 5 Thalitine. Upgraded Monument to the Lost districts count toward Worship only in new saves.
- How does the Shared Victory treaty interact with diplomacy?
- Concluding Shared Victory together with Joint Military and Conjoined Research treaties triggers Confederacy, providing both empires with 20 additional Public Opinion for 10 turns.
- Was the Master victory condition rebalanced?
- Yes. Its formula was not working as intended and made the condition too hard to reach, so the condition was corrected.
